Early Life/Pre-Canon

Fairy World

Wanda grew up in Fairy World with a family that consists of Big Daddy (a garbage collecting Fairy whose business is a parody of the Chicago mob.), her as of yet un-known mother and her Identical Yet Somehow Hotter Twin Sister Blonda. As a child and teenager, Wanda was very popular with her peers and was also a hard worker. Taking over the ‘motherly’ roll of the household and taking care of her father and sister. During this time she becomes a daddy’s girl, as her father easily recognizes her hardwork and trusts her with more important matters.

Her personal life is that of a typical popular girl, she has several friends and even a very sexy boyfriend named Juandissimo Magnifico. It’s during this time that she meets a green-haired, pimple faced waiter, Cosmo Cosma. He dropped a drink all over her, and it was love at first sight. Eventually Cosmo proposes to her using a chewed up pen cap and the two have been married since. (which is around 9,000+ years at the start of the show.)

Earth

Unlike her twin, who became a famous soap opera star in Fairywood, Wanda trained to become a Fairy Godparent. Partnered with her husband, mainly to keep him out of trouble, she has had years of practice being a Fairy Godmother. Some of her more well known charges include Bill Gates, Tina Turner, Walt Disney…and Denzel Crocker. Of course not all of her Godchildren were shinning examples, as it is shown in late Season Five that alongside the Hall of Fame is the Hall of Infamy. This Hall of Infamy holds children whose wishes have added to the suffering of the world (such as why the French are rude to Americans and how WWII started.) instead of helping it out.

Canon Point

At the start of canon, Wanda and Cosmo are assigned to ten year old Timmy Turner to be his Godparents until he no longer needs them. The reason that he has them is because his parents are rather inattentive (usually because they’re busy) and Timmy’s babysitter is well…evil. Wanda is shown right away to be the smarter of the pair, and constantly worrying over her boys. With good reason! Some of Timmy’s early wishes, while innocent in a child’s mind do end up causing a bit of trouble. Such as when he wishes that everyone in the world would look the same on the outside. So that no one thought someone better then the other. The only problem with this wish is that Fairies aren’t able to find their Godchildren as easily and begin to suffer from Magical Backup. Which pretty much means they start to explode and rain down in colorful confetti. In earlier episodes Wanda tries to keep Timmy from become too selfish with his wishes, and too keep him from using them to hurt people. Whether on purpose or on accident. She tried to be the voice of reason, even if no one really listens to her, and ends up fixing most of the messes Timmy ends up getting into.

Personality: intelligent, compassionate, worrier/nag, motherly, sarcastic

Considering that at great deal of the characters on the show are used as low-intelligence humour, Wanda seems to be the exception. She is one of the brighter characters in the show, at least in terms of common sense. Actually, if you only count common sense, Wanda seems to be the only character in the show that actually has any. At all. Whenever Timmy (usually aided by Cosmo) makes a foolish wish, or gets himself into trouble somehow, Wanda is the one that gets them out of it. There are actually several episodes dedicated to this. Somehow Wanda is no around, and Timmy and Cosmo end up nearly destroying the world. The moment Wanda returns though, everything is fixed easily and things go back to normal.

Along with her brain, Wanda is also very compassionate. She shows affections for people she cares for very easily. Often hugging and kissing Cosmo without worry of who is around her. The same goes for Timmy, who gets hugs whenever the boy needs them. She has a tendency to also call people ‘honey’ or ‘sweety’. Even if that person isn’t her husband or Godchild.

Wanda also worries. A lot. Given the two people she is aound the most, it’s one of her most common emotions. Of course, others seem to see this as a more of a nagging habit then honest worry. She can usually see where the days events are going to lead Timmy’s wishes, and despite her thought out and accurate predictions. Timmy and Cosmo still go through with the wish, leaving Wanda to proclaim a light I told you so before fixing things. She tries to insist on them being careful, that wishes don’t always end up as they started but she is still ignored.

Other:
Wanda will be taken after the episode “Transparents” from season one to be in the same timeline as Cosmo and Crocker.

First Person:

Dear Diary;

I knew it would happen! I knew it! I really do appreciate Timmy wishing me to that Spa Day, but I knew that they wouldn’t listen to me and not make any wishes. Cosmo tries so hard, but this went a little to far. So much for my day off; it’s not even noon and already they’ve managed to get into life threatening dangers three times. Well! Here’s to enjoying my day off. I have a bad feeling about all this. ..but it’s a full day at the Spa. I’m sure everything will be just fine when the days over.

I just hope there’s still a world afterward.

Third Person:

“You know, I had a feeling this might happen.” It was true, as she floated their soaking wet with frosting dribbling down into her hair. She knew this would end up happening somehow, as soon as Cosmo had given Timmy the bright idea of a ‘rain dance’ involving confectionaries. Wanda had told them that a rain dance only started rain showers. It didn’t mean they would stop. Still, those infamous last word passed her Godchild’s lips, ‘I wish our rain dance really did work!’ and soon enough clouds gathered and the rain poured down. Her husband, as much as she loved him, had decided to make the dance more festive. Poofing each one of them hats made out of frosting and cake. “It’s pretty and edible!” had been the reasoning. Now those pretty hats were lumps of watery goo clinging to hair, cloths and crowns.

“Timmy, sweety, I told you this was going to happen.” There was a bit of an edge to her tone, she was wet and sticky and love them as she did…it was still her boys fault. “The Rain dance just starts the storm. Now we need to end it before Dimsdale ends up like Atlantis!” “Only this time it wasn’t my fault!” She gave her husband a level gaze before holding up her wand and cleaning them up from the cake. The wish was still going, so she couldn’t do more then that. “Alright, sport, now what?”
